A Day In Roberta's World

When I was a child, my dad would gather his brood around him and tell us scary stories. He called them, Irishman tales. Dad started his stories with, "once upon a time."
That is the way this post starts out.

Once upon a crisp, fall day, Roberta was out with her camera, (as usual) when she caught some rare snapshots. Watch what happens, when she comes upon this beautiful, agile deer that was probably grazing in her valley. Something has obviously frightened this guy, and it runs for a refuge. There is safety in those woods, but that highway must be crossed first. Have you ever found yourself in a pickle like that? I have.

These pictures reminds me of how I run to God for refuge when I get head over heels in trouble.
Maybe that is why one of my very favorite bible verses is found in Psalms.

Psalm 46:1 God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble.

Here we go. Watch as she begins taking pictures.
